What is Polycarbonate?

10X more impact-resistant than plastic. A standard for children and safety glasses. Polycarbonate lenses are 35% lighter and thinner than plastic lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are scratch and impact resistant and has a unique optical feature called inherent UV protection, blocking 100% of these potentially damaging uv rays that cause eye disease.

20%-40% thinner and lighter than standard plastic.

Lenses are clear indoors and darken automatically outdoors.
